We have two practice nurses who work with the doctors to provide a wide range of services, which include:- Management of Long Term Conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure, and Health Promotion, such as cervical smears, child health immunisations, general health checks and advice.
If you require any of these services, please make an appointment with one of the nurses.
For many long term conditions which are well controlled, the doctor will ask you to see the nurse for a follow-up appointment at clinics, which are held regularly. All patients with a long term condition will be invited to attend a clinic for full review of their care at least once a year.
Child Health Clinics
Child Health clinics are held weekly. Childhood immunisations will be undertaken by one of the practice nurses at these clinics.

A confidential contraceptive advice service is offered by all our doctors and nurses, including advice on contraceptive pills, contraception injections, contraceptive implants and coils and natural family planning. Please make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your contraceptive needs.
